This practice establishes the minimum requirements for the development of a Quality Assurance and Production Acceptance Program, to be used for the manufacture of Light Airplane Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS).
Other documents relevant to this practice include Practice F 2279, 14 CFR Part 21, 14 CFR Part 23, and 14 CFR Part 43.
This standard does not purport to address the quality assurance of the data-links, autopilot functions, and control stations.
