Annotation

This test method covers the measurement of the surface area of leather test specimens. Unless otherwise specified, the surface to be measured shall be the grain surface or the surface most closely adjacent to the grain surface. This test method does not apply to wet blue.

The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard. No other units of measurement are included in this standard.
