Annotation
The VDI 2700 series of guidelines deals with the securing of loads on road vehicles. Supplementing this, the present guideline describes the special aspects of oversized and heavy load transportation which were mentioned in the introduction. Of decisive importance to the load-securing measures necessary are the constructional features of the vehicle as well as the kind of load and its characteristics.
