Annotation

This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the methods for obtaining the quantity concerning total luminous flux and light source colour of white light emitting diode (LED) modules and LED light engines for general lighting using an integrating sphere. This method is also applicable to the photometry of an LED luminaire.

The photometry of light sources for general lighting (including bulb-shaped LED lamps) shall be in accordance with JIS C 7801. The photometry of LED packages and the photometry of LED luminaires, etc. using goniophotometers shall be in accordance with JIS C 8152-1 and JIS C 8105-5, respectively.
