Annotation
This standard applies to stationary and railmounted crane systems including their supporting structures and technical equipment as well as to crane runways, provided they are subject to the area of application of accident prevention regulations BGV D 6 and BGV D 8. Fundamentals and terms of maintenance planning are covered in standards DIN 31051 and DIN EN 13306. This standard presents approved maintenance planning strategies for crane systems.
In line with DIN 15001-1 the present standard relates to travelling hoists, cantilever cranes, slewing cranes, overhead (bridge) cranes, gantry cranes, wall cranes and construction tower cranes.
