Annotation
OBJECT AND SCOPE
PTC 19.22 augments the ASME Performance Test Codes and other Instruments and Apparatus Supplements by providing guidance for reliable results when digital equipment is used. This Supplement includes guidance for the determination of data accuracy and repeatability, computational limitations, and sufficiency of data to satisfy the requirements of ASME Performance Test Codes.
Equipment performance indices and the equations for their correct calculation are explicity defined in the individual ASME Performance Test Codes. The instrumentation to be employed in applying these Codes is specified directly in the applicable Code or referenced in the appropriate Supplement.
