Annotation
This Standard defines the grades of cold-rolled non-oriented electrical steel strip and sheet with insulation on both sides in nominal thicknesses of 0.35 mm, 0.47 mm, 0.50 mm, 0.65 mm and 1.00 mm (hereafter referred to as "steel strip"). In particular, it gives general requirements, magnetic properties, geometric characteristics, tolerances, technological characteristics, as well as inspection procedures.
This Standard applies to steel strips supplied in the fully annealed condition (hereafter referred to as "fully-processed state") in sheets or coils intended for the construction of magnetic circuits.
NOTE: The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows:
IEC 60404-8-4: 2013 Magnetic materials-Part 8-4: Specifications for individual materials-Cold-rolled non-oriented electrical steel strip and sheet delivered in the fully-processed state (MOD)
The symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/IEC Guide 21-1.
