Annotation

This Standard specifies the characteristics of slotted set screws with thread sizes from M1.2 to M12 and of product grade A.

If other dimensions and product specifications are required, it is recommended that they should be selected from JIS B 0205-2, JIS B 0209-3, JIS B 1003, JIS B 1009, JIS B 1021, JIS B 1053 and JIS B 1054-3.

NOTE: The International Standards corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows.

ISO 4766 : 1983 Slotted set screws with flat point

ISO 7434 : 1983 Slotted set screws with cone point

ISO 7435 : 1983 Slotted set screws with long dog point

ISO 7436 : 1983 Slotted set screws with cup point
