Annotation
This standard specifies dimensions and symbols for adapter sleeves with tapers 1:12 and 1:30.
Adapter sleeves as specified in this standard are used for mounting rolling bearings with a tapered bore of 1:12 or 1:30 on shafts and axles, mainly in use with self-aligning ball bearings conforming to DIN 630, barrel ball bearings conforming to DIN 635-1 and self-aligning roller bearings conforming to DIN 635-2.
Adapter sleeves consist of sleeve, DIN 981 locknut and DIN 5406 lockwasher. Adapter sleeves are supplied complete with all parts.
