Annotation

This Standard specifies the characteristics of hexagon socket head cap screws with coarse thread from M1.6 up to and including M64 and with fine pitch thread from M8 x 1 up to and including M36 x 3, of product grade A.

For approximate masses of steel screws, see Annex A.

If, in special cases, dimensions and product specifications other than those listed in this Standard are required, they shall be selected from existing Japanese Industrial Standards, for example, JIS B 0205-2, JIS B 0209-2, JIS B 1009, JIS B 1021, JIS B 1051, JIS B 1054-1 and JIS B 1057 upon agreement between the purchaser and the manufacturer
