Annotation

This Standard specifies the technical requirements and test procedures for penetrant materials (hereafter referred to as "materials"), used for penetrant testing specified in JIS Z 2343-1, for their type testing and batch testing. It also details on-site control tests and methods.

NOTE : The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows:

ISO 3452-2:2006 Non-destructive testing—Penetrant testing—Part 2: Testing of penetrant materials (IDT)

The symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/ IEC Guide 21.
