Annotation
This Standard specifies the ductile iron fittings (hereafter referred to as "fittings") and accessories used to convey water and the like, under pressure or non-pressure, through piping buried underground or laid on the ground.
NOTE: The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows:
ISO 2531 : 2009 Ductile iron pipes, fittings, accessories and their joints for water applications (MOD)
The symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/lEC Guide 21-1.
