Annotation

This Standard contains requirements for 25 and 38 mm forged quick connect couplings and adapters of the external lug design for use in the forestry service.

NOTE 1: Quick connect coupling and adapter sizes stated refer to the nominal diameter of the forestry hose.

NOTE 2: The requirements for non forged External Lug Quick Connect Couplings and Adapters for Forestry Fire Hose are contained in Standard CAN/ULC-S558.

The couplings and adapters are intended for use with forestry fire hose of the 25 and 38 mm standard sizes.
