Annotation
Diese Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Untersuchung von extrahierbaren organisch gebundenen Halogenen (EOX) in Schlammen und Sedimenten fest. Der Gehalt an extrahierbaren organisch gebundenen Halogenen wird bestimmt und als Massenanteil (Chlor) angegeben. Die untere Anwendungsgrenze liegt bei 0,2 mg Chlor je kg Trockenmasse.
Leicht- und mittelfluchtige organische Halogenverbindungen werden nicht vollstandig erfasst.
Die Anwendbarkeit des Verfahrens auf weitere Feststoffe ist nicht ausgeschlossen; sie muss jedoch im Einzelfall gepruft werden.
